Dominican Republic, October 18, 2012—The Business Year has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to release its first publication on economy and business in the country, under the title The Business Year: Dominican Republic 2013.

“The analysis in the The Business Year: Dominican Republic 2013 will undoubtedly be a great support to the intense labor that we carry out to promote the opportunities and the potential for investment that our country has,” Minister Jose Del Castillo expressed.

Simona Romeo, TBY’s Dominican Republic Country Manager, has indicated that the publication, of which 87,400 copies will be distributed worldwide, answers to the increasing interest from a wide international community on the commercial opportunities for business in the whole region. “As the country advances economically and demands major investments, information becomes indispensable. The fieldwork realized by our team, in collaboration with the minister, will allow us to satisfy this interest and to provide a complete publication on the Dominican Republic,” she states.

The Business Year: Dominican Republic 2012 aims to provide first-hand information through more than 150 interviews with leading political, economic, and business leaders, plus in-depth sector analysis.
