TBY partners with ISPAT
Turkey, March 14, 2012—On the heels of its successful 2011 publication on Turkey, The Business Year (TBY) is once again joining forces with the Prime Ministry of Turkey’s Investment Support and Promotion Agency (ISPAT) for the publication of The Business Year: Turkey 2012. As the official organization providing support and market information to the global investor community, ISPAT will assist TBY in data collection, research, and sector analysis.
“The 2011 edition was very impressive, and we were happy to be a part of it,” said ƒ∞lker Aycƒ±, President of ISPAT. “Turkey needs this sort of publication to bring greater international exposure to its business leaders as well as its investment opportunities.”
Jason J. Nash, Editorial Director of TBY, expressed his pleasure in renewing the company’s fruitful partnership with ISPAT. He said: “As Turkey grows its international profile and economic might, there is increasing demand around the world for reliable and comprehensive information about the business landscape.
“Our partnership with ISPAT ensures that our publication profiles the country’s most significant actors and provides the most accurate and up-to-date analysis possible.”
TBY publications are well known for providing world-class, first-hand information. During the production of The Business Year: Turkey 2011, TBY’s experts spoke directly to over 150 Turkish business leaders and government officials. In addition to in-depth analysis of each sector, the Turkey 2012 edition will include interviews and analyses from key economic actors as well as guest submissions from international political leaders and business personalities. TBY’s publications on Turkey are the most comprehensive English-language reviews of the economy published internationally to date.
Interviews form the basis of TBY’s research and are structured around chapters covering the main sectors of the economy: diplomacy & politics, economy, finance, energy, industry & mining, ICT, transport, real estate & construction, agriculture, health & education, and tourism. TBY’s research articles provide the reader with all the vital facts and figures—at both the macroeconomic and microeconomic levels—as well as highlight specific projects, investments, and opportunities. The publication concludes with an executive guide, providing details for foreign companies on how to get started in business in Turkey.
The initial demand for The Business Year: Turkey 2012 reflects the high level of international business interest in the country, and Turkey’s emergence as a top-tier investment destination. TBY’s first annual report dedicated exclusively to Turkey, published in spring of 2011, circulated more than 87,400 copies internationally.
