This has been driven by focusing our activities toward quality and safety. By playing an active part in contributing to some of the country's most recognizable and eminent landmarks, Al Tasnim has fortified its position at the forefront of Oman's construction industry as an organization that is impelled by quality, skill, and timely delivery. Our exceptional workforce, expansive knowledge, dexterity, commitment to safety, and enormous network of resources have empowered us to become an industry leader. We are concentrating on every aspect that will enhance our stronghold in the GCC and across the Middle East.

What are Al Tasnim Group's main focus areas in Oman?

DCK From what started off as an equipment leasing company, the group has now become a multi-faceted, multi-disciplined titan in Oman. Since its inception, the group has endeavored relentlessly to deliver the highest-possible standards for its products and services in the construction business. Being a 100% Omani-owned group, its reputation and impressive clientele list speaks volumes of the talent and enterprising spirit of the Sultanate. With a proficient team of over 15,000 employees, the Al Tasnim Group continues to provide Oman with international-quality solutions, products, and skills to cater to the demands of the rapidly growing nation. Some of the group's divisions include cement products, civil construction, oil and gas, roto-molding, building finishes, asphalt, roads and infrastructure, MEP contracting, product dealership and trading, quarrying and mining, hospitality, and health, fitness, and beauty.

What does Al Tasnim's oil and gas segment execute in Oman?

Farrokh J. Masani Our oil and gas division executes multi-discipline engineering design, procurement, construction, and pre-commissioning and commissioning services. The division's largest subcontract is an off-plot delivery contract that covers all off-plot works in the South of Oman. This division currently employs 3,000 people, and its extensive track record corroborates its expertise in onshore multi-discipline engineering services. Since its inception, the division has grown progressively and rapidly to become a specialist service provider in the oil and gas sector. The range of services includes fabrication and installations of lines, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe lining, carrying out roto-lining of pipes and spools for on-plot applications, integrity maintenance, station works, multiport selector valves' manifolds, fast-tracked civil and infrastructure development, electrical and control services, and automation engineering solutions.

How have innovation and technology helped increase Al Tasnim's reach in the oil and gas sector?

FJM Apart from conventional technologies applied in developing oil and gas fields, we have developed techniques for preventing internal corrosion, i.e. roto-lining for piping spools, which improves the lifespan of wells. In addition to this, we have started manufacturing HDPE liner pipes suitable for internal lining for flow lines for enhancing corrosion protection. To improve our deliverables and productivity to our esteemed clients, we have inducted automatic welding technology for high-thickness pipelines. With this new technology, we have handed over a few projects before the agreed time schedule. With these approaches, we remain competitive and deliver better products with timely project completion.
