What is Mwasalat's strategy to maintain itself as a profitable company in the transport sector?

Mwasalat's key focus is on delivering its short-medium-long term strategic master plan. The objectives of this are to drive and support Mwasalat in providing effective public transport services that are optimal, integrated, and balanced, which impacts on all social sectors. By implementing a world-class bus transportation service with safety levels that meets the user's expectations we hope to drive patronage and revenues, which will minimize the dependency of government subsidies for the city bus network. This plan will also focus on our inter-city network with a brand new coach fleet, which will increase our market share as we expand into new territories. Our cargo business is going through a major overhaul as we modernize our cargo operation, revise our cost structures, and implement a new taxi service into the new airport, malls, and on-call services. As well, Mwasalat provides transportation services through contracts that include various entities throughout the country like MOE, SQU, ABQ, Al Mouj, and so on.
