TBY signs partnership with Tanzania National Business Council

TBY has signed a partnership agreement with the Tanzania National Business Council (TNBC) to cooperate on TBY’s publication The Business Year: Tanzania 2018, which will provide comprehensive and relevant research on business opportunities in Tanzania.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the TNBC Executive Secretary Raymond Mbilinyi and TBY Country Manager for Tanzania, Petra Augustinova, at the TNBC office in Tan House in Dar es Salaam.

Upon signing the MoU, Mbilinyi commented: “TNBC is happy to be working with The Business Year. We have no doubt this will help promote the country, and inform other investors about the vast array of possibilities that Tanzania’s business environment has to offer.” In a similar vein, Augustinova expressed her delight to be in partnership with the TNBC, a mainstay of Tanzania’s business community.

The TNBC, established by a Presidential decree in 2001, is a platform for dialog for the public and private sectors in Tanzania. TBY has been active in Tanzania’s market since 2013, each year broadening the umbrella of organizations with which it converses, in order to capture the richness of the business scene in the country.

TBY’s latest edition on the Tanzanian economy The Business Year: Tanzania 2018 will feature interviews with more than 100 leading executives and government ministers from the local economy, providing direct insights into market growth and trends. TBY’s first-hand research reaches key international investors and members of the global business community, targeting international financial institutions, international corporations, investors, accountancy firms, industrial conglomerates, and governmental organizations. The Tanzania publication will be distributed extensively, both domestically and globally, and will reach an even larger audience via its basket of digital platforms.
