JORDAN INDUSTRIAL ESTATES COMPANY
What have been JIEC's main achievements over the past year?
We are all extremely satisfied with JIEC's achievements in 2018, which contributed to the growth of Jordan's national economy. In addition to our six operational industrial estates—Abdullah II Industrial Estate, Amman; Al-Hassan Industrial Estate, Irbid; Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Industrial Estate, Karak; Aqaba International Industrial Estate; Al-Muwaqqar Industrial Estate; and Al-Mafraq Industrial Estate—our action plan is to establish four new industrial estates in Madaba, Al-Tafilah, Jerash, and Al-Salt. These projects will be ready to host investments by the end of 2019. Our development embodies inspiring ideas, expertise, and boundless ambitions, qualifying JIEC for ISO certification and His Majesty's King Abdullah II Award of Excellence.
In addition to inaugurating the four new industrial estates, what developments can we expect from JIEC in the coming year?
We have implemented an integrated plan to develop a wastewater treatment plant utilizing the latest high-tech equipment. Moreover, as a part of its efforts to attract industrial investments, JIEC has enhanced its presence in many activities locally and internationally, such as forums, trade events, and exhibitions. JIEC is motivated to achieve excellent growth rates and positive impacts as a result of expansion plans in across Jordan.
