The Zoëtry was officially opened after an important renovation. How did you enhance your customer experience?

Zoëtry Montego Bay officially opened in December 23, 2016 after being closed for a major renovation that took approximately one year. Zoëtry Montego Bay offers a Jamaican experience with Endless Privileges®, providing an elevated and personalized stay where everything is included. We intertwine wellness, gourmet meals, top-shelf spirits, fine wines, entertainment, and other luxurious amenities during the guest's getaway, without them having to worry about additional charges or gratuities.

How does Zoëtry differentiate itself from other all-inclusive hotels in Montego Bay?

Unlike many other resorts in Montego Bay, Zoëtry has a strong focus on wellness as a niche market. Activities are offered to better a guest's wellbeing, such as yoga classes, meditation and mindfulness, and a complimentary 20-minute wellness experience or fitness consultation. In addition, the cuisine served in our restaurants is prepared with organic fresh and locally grown ingredients. Being a boutique resort with only 49 suites also differentiates us and allows us to offer top-notch personalized service that guests will not find anywhere else in Montego Bay. Each suite is attended by a butler dedicated to the guest's every need. We also offer complimentary Club Mo-bay services so that guests can feel like a VIP from the moment that they land at the airport in Jamaica.

The hotel is divided in three buildings: Wood & Water, Bamboo, and Blue Mountain. How does the hotel affirm its Jamaican identity?

Focusing on wood and water, bamboo, and the blue mountains, Zoëtry Montego Bay was designed with the ecological tapestry of Jamaica in mind. Guests can embark on a serene experience and explore the natural elements surrounding the property, immersing their bodies, minds, and souls in the quintessential Jamaican culture. The true soul of Jamaica comes from the people. From the friendly front desk staff to attentive butlers and entertaining bartenders on property, the soul of Jamaica comes through at every turn.

How do you ensure that the hotel provides linkage with the local communities and economy?

We work with mostly local suppliers, especially our farmers and fishermen, ensuring that we meet the highest standards on the quality of items received. Zoëtry provides a unique farm-to-table dining experience for our guests, focusing on wellness options while making an important contribution towards the local economy and community.

Is AMResorts, the parent company, planning to open other boutique hotels in Jamaica?

AMResorts is always looking for new opportunities to increase our portfolio. There are no concreteplans at the moment, though Jamaica remains a great possibility for expansion in the future.
