Bio
We’ve been involved in both state- and private-sector projects over the last few years. This has included a few major projects with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Justice. We are also working on the Bus Terminal project and another project in which we are constructing three-story buildings in the “20 Yanvar” district. We strive to ensure all of our projects are aesthetically pleasing. Whilst our work is mainly concentrated in Azerbaijan, we also have a small number of projects in Russia.
On public projects, the costs, expenses, and budget are set by the state, whereas private sector projects are all dependent on market prices, making them more uncertain. We like to make sure we balance our project portfolio so we don’t just focus on one customer base.
There is a lot of potential and opportunity for growth here, be it in terms of residential construction, tourism infrastructure, or public buildings.
The main challenge facing our sector in Azerbaijan is the lack of human capital. Whereas most countries these days have an unemployment problem, we tend to find that we have an inherent lack of skilled workers.
Since independence, the Azerbaijani economy has been improving very rapidly. This is due to strong profits from the oil industry, as well as the smart leadership and economic policies of our government.
Azerbaijan offers many opportunities. I feel that the construction sector will continue to grow in the coming years, and we are very happy to be a part of this growth.
We want to enlarge our construction business, as well as our production of construction materials, furniture, and concrete.
